Located in Texas, just North of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Twin Star Farms breeds Missouri Fox Trotters for show, competitive trail and pleasure riding. We also offer lessons for beginners 10 years old and up. We’re passionate about bringing people to riding or back to riding.

During the spring and fall, we take visitors on trail rides around beautiful Lake Ray Roberts State Park. We’re lucky to live so close to the trails here and at Big Mineral on Lake Texoma.

Fox Trotters are known for a special gait that enables them to cover a lot of ground without jarring motion. They are like a rocking chair, even at 8 plus miles an hour. Beautiful, hardy, sure-footed with an endearing, calm personality, the Fox Trotter continues to grow in popularity.

These horses are ideal for children, the over-forty crowd and first-time horse buyers looking for a riding experience that makes you smile!
