True black stud colt out of Cast Iron Wizard and Tammie's Black Shadow.

     

"Pistol" is ... well, a pistol.  He's a hoot to watch and always into something.  Confident and easy going.  This little guy is put together well.  He's doing a running walk in the pasture consistently.  We'll be testing him to see if he's homozygous for the black gene.  His sire won in performance at Ava in the futurity two years in a row.  His grand daddy was 4-time World Champion Cast Iron Willie and his grand mom was the Reserve World Grand Champion Classy Sassy.  His dam was bred by Roy Brown and has Hot Toddy breeding.  View pedigree

 

Cast Iron Liberty TSF (Born April 16, 2009)
True sabino stud colt out of Cast Iron Wizard and Boss Man's Frosted Honey.

     

Liberty is sweet and flashy.  I've never seen a horse marked like this.  He's got all the champions named above on his sire's side.  His dam is the direct daughter of Zane's Boss Man, a horse known for a wonderful disposition and athleticism, and a granddaughter of Zane Grey.  Liberty's going to be a good sized horse, likely more than 15hh.  View pedigree
